A host of screenings and health-related services will be available at the Fall Health Fair on Sept. 29.

Dignity Health Mark Twain Medical Center is hosting its 20th annual fair this Saturday at the hospital campus, 768 Mountain Ranch Rd. in San Andreas, which will provide free vision and glaucoma screenings, informational services and free flu shots.

There will be more than 30 health service groups in attendance. The event, which will run from 7 a.m.-12 noon, is open to the public.

According to MTMC, attendees will be able to receive information on senior support and health services, ADD, ADHD, autism spectrum and learning disabilities, health insurance, long-term and short-term care, where various support groups are held and disease and nutrition management.

Health screenings are $45 and cover a five-panel blood analysis, which includes chemistry panel, thyroid, complete blood count, lipid panel, iron levels for women, PSA for men and vitamin D deficiencies. A bone density screening is available for $20. Those planning on having a blood panel need to fast after 10 p.m. the night previous to the health fair.
