California is experiencing catastrophic wildfires and we are all breathing their smoke. Can we count on Tom McClintock to work toward a solution? No! Can we count on Jessica Morse to do so? Yes!

McClintock talks tough on fire, introducing a bill to take more trees out of the forests. But his solution is simply to weaken the environmental review process so that logging companies can take more trees. But logging for profit is not always thinning and managing for forest health. Our forests have gotten in the state they are in because not enough funds have been made available to manage them well. McClintock has repeatedly voted against funding for fire prevention and protection. He also voted against a supplemental spending allocation for victims of disasters, including wildfires.

Jessica Morse has a strong sensible plan for protecting our forests: fund strategic and fiscally sound prevention efforts, manage forests with sustainable logging, and partner with ranchers to promote effective grazing for clearing vegetation. You can read more at

This November, please vote for Jessica Morse for Congress in California District 4. It is time for a change!
