Robert Diehl, president and CEO of Mark Twain Medical Center in San Andreas, has resigned his position effective July 31, Nicki Stevens, spokeswoman for Dignity Health, told the Enterprise in late June.
Diehl has been with Mark Twain Medical Center since 2016.
Dignity Health, which negotiated a deal to manage the hospital under a 30-year lease with the Mark Twain Health Care District that was approved by voters June 5, has not given an answer as to why Diehl is stepping down, nor any word on who will replace him or when.
