Jury trial dates have been confirmed for Sean McGeough, 55, who has been charged with the death of his sister Stephanie McGeough, who was found dead at her San Andreas Apartment in Sept. 2016.

Leigh Flemming and Tony Salazar are the public defense attorneys assigned to the case; Brad Jones is the deputy district attorney. Visiting judge Frank Dougherty heard the Trial Setting Conference on Friday, Nov. 30 and confirmed the jury trial dates.

Flemming confirmed that they are coordinating witnesses and experts, and will be ready to go to trial in April.

The jury trial has been scheduled to begin April 3 at 8:30 a.m. and is expected to last approximately 2 weeks, or 12 full court dates.

McGeough has entered and will continue his general time waiver until the confirmed trial dates. He is being held on $2 million dollar bail at the Calaveras County Jail.

The next court date will be a Status Conference Hearing on Jan. 14 at 8:30 a.m.
