Those driving along Highway 4 between Avery and Forest Meadows may experience traffic delays starting Monday, as the Calaveras County Water District will be replacing a pipeline running through the area.

The district’s contractor plans to close one lane for the majority of the project, which will continue through the fall, pause during the winter and resume in spring 2020, continuing through fall 2020 when construction is expected to be complete, according to the district.

The district has designed a web page to update the public throughout the course of the project. For all information regarding the Reach 1 Pipeline Replacement Project, visit www.ccwd.org/reach-1.
