East Bay Municipal Utility District (EBMUD) will conduct a vegetation management burn project on about 10 acres of district property north of Valley Springs at Paloma Road and Campo Seco Road June 12, 2019. EBMUD crews will work from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The goal is to improve local watershed vegetation and safely train and prepare for the upcoming fire season.

This project is being completed in compliance with all necessary permits from the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection and the Calaveras County Air Pollution Control District. Smoke may be visible in this area.
