Anyone with lingering questions about the controversial Wagon Trail Project can have their concerns addressed at an upcoming public meeting. The Calaveras County Department of Public Works will conduct an open house from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 10, at the Copperopolis Armory, 695 Main St.

The purpose of the public meeting is to provide an update on the project, obtain input and answer questions regarding the environmental review process. The meeting will follow an open house format. There will be a brief introductory presentation and additional project information will be available for viewing.

Representatives from Calaveras County Public Works and the project team will be at the open house to answer questions, and discuss issues related to the project. Comment cards will be available at the meeting and submitted comments will be reflected in the meeting minutes.
