A free basic Internet computer class is being offered at the Mountain Ranch Resource Center in December. There will be four two-hour classes spanning two weeks, from 4 to 6 p.m., for a total of eight hours: Monday, Dec. 5 and Wednesday, Dec. 7, then Monday, Dec. 12 and Wednesday, Dec. 14. The class is sponsored by California Connects, a federally funded program to provide digital literacy training for those who may not have access to broadband technology, and will be taught by trainer Lynn Reinecke. The class is limited to six people, and the trainer will provide laptops. Call Reinecke at 286-7161, for more information, or the Mountain Ranch Resource Center at 754-4073 to sign up.
