The Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office Marijuana Enforcement Team (MET) served a search warrant for an outdoor marijuana grow that utilized three greenhouses, according to a Sheriff’s Office news release. Authorities seized 1,319 marijuana plants and are investigating potential permitting and code violations at the location. No suspects were found.

2000 block of Berkesey Drive, Valley Springs

The MET served a search warrant at a residence and found the interior had been converted into “individual growing rooms,” according to a Sheriff’s Office news release. A total of 401 marijuana plants and 13 pounds of processed marijuana were seized. Multiple code violations were identified, including “hazardous” electrical work and mold. No suspects were found.
