Heavy equipment operator and truck driver

Robert C. Siegel of Valley Springs died Friday, March 29, 2013, after a battle with cancer.

Mr. Siegel was born May 4, 1943, in Stockton, to Ernest W. Siegel and Virginia M. Siegel. He worked as a heavy equipment operator and truck driver and was a lifelong resident of Valley Springs.

Mr. Siegel is survived by his wife, Patricia A. Siegel; a daughter, Sierra M. Siegel; and two stepsons, Ivan J. Moore and Austin D. Moore. He was preceded in death by his parents.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Hospice of Amador & Calaveras.

    Dear Uncle Bob, You were quite a man. I am so sorry we had to lose you. I will always remember the "Bic" lighter, and all that wheat you brought me to make bread for all of us.
    I hope you are at peace now, and remember Randy will help Patty with whatever she needs. We love you, Randy & Judy
