County Counsel for Calaveras County, Megan Stedtfeld, has announced her resignation after more than eight years of service, a news release confirmed over the weekend.

The halls across the county are not quite fully decked, but the Calaveras County Arts Council is ready for those who like to get their holiday shopping done well before the end of December. The “Gifts of Affordable Art” sale is now open in San Andreas.

While the winter has yet to come to Calaveras County, the Sierra Nevada Adventure Company (SNAC) is already gearing up for the 2019-2020 ski season.
