Thanks to the Copperopolis Elementary School Parents’ Club, students and staff at the school are sporting brand new, bright blue “Wednesday Workout” shirts.

The recently purchased Cougar T-shirts include the school mascot and name on the front, and feature a variety of vocabulary words and definitions on the back.

“As a staff we were able to pick categories of words. We chose character and academia, and the company used around 70 words for our shirts,” said Copperopolis Elementary Principal Josh O’Geen. “The words on the back can serve several purposes. We can use them to promote positive character on campus and also to teach our students new vocabulary. Staff and students enjoy talking about the words and making lessons out of them.”
