Calaveras County District 2 Supervisor Jack Garamendi and Calaveras County Office of Emergency Services will be hosting a Town Hall meeting to address the county’s Tree Mortality Program, wildfire preparedness, and plans for local fuel break projects next Thursday, August 23 at 6 p.m. at the West Point Community Hall, 22283 Hwy 26, West Point.

Community members will have an opportunity to hear from local fire departments along with the Calaveras Foothills Fire Safe Council, Calaveras Healthy Impact Product Solutions, and the County Tree Mortality Program.

Property owners who have received letters requesting right of entry permission for the County Tree Mortality Program or other fuel break projects are encouraged to attend.
