The Blue Mountain Players have hosted the West Point Talent Show for longer than anyone can remember, “Let’s say at least 20 years,” said a release. This year the West Point Talent Show is staged at 7 p.m. Saturday, April 6, at the West Point Community Hall.
“The show is sure to provide you with a taste of some real talent – featuring a classical guitarist and piano by Ron Brickman – and some real laughs, with skits by local celebrities, business owners and community groups.”
The night also includes a Dessert Auction hosted by Mark Fischer, and ice cream sundaes.
“And, best of all, your donation will help the Blue Mountain Players keep our local playhouse open,” said the release. “For many years, Vicki Snead and Danielle Bianchi have been the tireless patrons, producers, leaders and guardians of the Blue Mountain Playhouse. This year, with the help of some longtime and some new volunteers, the Blue Mountain Players are hoping to offer a variety of shows at the theater, including live music, one-acts, staged readings, murder mystery dinners and maybe even a Halloween Open House.”
The doors open at 6:30 p.m. Donations are $10 for adults and $7 for ages 16 and under, which entitles guests to the show and a visit to the sundae bar.
