District 3 Congressman Dan Lungren, R-Goldcourse, will be holding a public meeting in Angels Camp tonight from 7 to 9 o’clock.
The congressman, who represents 17 northern California counties, will host a meeting with constituents to “discuss local and national issues of importance.” Lungren was first elected to represent California in 1978. He left congress in 1989 and returned to California to serve as State Treasurer, then as Attorney General from 1991 to 1999.
Lungren is a conservative Republican who currently sits on the House Judiciary, Homeland Security, and Budget committees.
The meeting will be held at the Frogtown Frogeteria, at the Calaveras County Fairgrounds, 2465 Gun Club Road, in Angels Camp.
