3:06 a.m., Near San Andreas – Locks and chain cut off warehouse door at old cement plant.

Wednesday, March 7

12:48 a.m., Angels Camp – Traffic stop. One person arrested. One citation issued.

3:28 a.m., West Point – Vehicle vandalized. Unfounded. Loitering.

3:33 a.m., Valley Springs – Suspicious vehicle. Subject was sleeping.

6:21 a.m., Copperopolis – Construction materials stolen.

8:02 a.m., Douglas Flat – Possible theft of gun.

8:24 a.m., Copperopolis – Construction materials stolen.

8:42 a.m., San Andreas – Ipod stolen from Calaveras High School.

8:57 a.m., San Andreas – Jail vandalized.

9:57 a.m., Murphys – Male subject stuck in a tree and unable to get down on his own. Call transferred to Calfire.

10 a.m., Copperopolis – Suspicious subjects at a residence. Deputy contacts them. They are workers for the homeowner and have permission.

11 a.m., Copperopolis – Child located on fog line of Little John Road. Returned to residence.

11:24 a.m., Jenny Lind – Verbal threats made.

11:31 a.m., Near Valley Springs – Civil issue over purchase of property.

12:13 p.m., Copperopolis – Possible violation of a restraining order. Non-return of garage door opener.

1:04 p.m., Douglas Flat – Possible assault that occurred yesterday.

1:30 p.m., Murphys – Vehicle vs. front of Sierra Hills Market. Non-injury.

1:35 p.m., Mountain Ranch – iPod stolen from student by student at community school.

2:18 p.m., Valley Springs – Fuel line cut.

2:38 p.m., Douglas Flat – Possible assault that occurred yesterday.

7:39 p.m., Near Forest Meadows – Verbal altercation. Subject left residence.

9:09 p.m., Copperopolis – Several subjects partying.

9:50 p.m., San Andreas – Female subject is causing a disturbance.

10:02 p.m., Hathaway Pines – Shots fired in the area.

10:55 p.m., Valley Springs – Family verbal altercation.

11:06 p.m., San Andreas – Report of a cross-burning. Transferred to Calfire.

11:32 p.m., Valley Springs – Several subjects running around the Chevron gas station. Area checked. Unable to locate.

Tuesday, March 6

6:30 a.m., Murphys – Tree limb on Pennsylvania Gulch Road is about to break. Information given to Road Department.

7:06 a.m., Copperopolis – Break-in at an office.

8:32 a.m., Valley Springs – Pump house vandalized.

10:13 a.m., West Point – Mailbox vandalized.

10:46 a.m., Valley Springs – Penny jar stolen.

10:46 a.m., Near San Andreas – Coca Cola truck is blocking lane on Highway 49 near Fourth Crossing Road.

11:35 a.m., Valley Springs – Dog left in vehicle with windows rolled up at Valley Oaks Shopping Center.

12:37 p.m., Near Copperopolis – Assist motorist.

2:02 p.m., West Point – Altercation. Citation issued.

2:27 p.m., Valley Springs – Threatening message left on voice mail.

2:57 p.m., Wilseyville – Unauthorized use of credit card.

4:05 p.m., Near Murphys – Altercation. Citation issued.

4:21 p.m., Wallace – Neighbors are riding quads all day.

4:40 p.m., Sheep Ranch – Subject is trespassing on reporting party’s property.

5:02 p.m., Dorrington – White truck with snowplow parked in middle of the road.

5:25 p.m., Valley Springs – Items stolen from residence.

7:26 p.m., Copperopolis – Family dispute.

7:35 p.m., Mountain Ranch – Family dispute.

7:53 p.m., Valley Springs – Trespassing.

9:12 p.m., Burson – Possible trespassing.

10:25 p.m., Mountain Ranch – Reporting party loaned his vehicle to a subject and was concerned that she hadn’t returned the vehicle in a timely manner.

Monday, March 5

6:50 a.m., Jenny Lind – Vandalism.

8:11 a.m., San Andreas – Vandalism. BB shot through window.

8:35 a.m., Valley Springs – Vandalism. Window shattered but not broken out.

9:32 a.m., Near San Andreas – Caller reports a neighbor shoots in an unsafe manner. Ongoing problem.

9:35 a.m., Murphys – Wallet and purse stolen from vehicle.

10:15 a.m., Burson – Lost checkbook.

12:46 p.m., West Point – Verbal altercation over the dog.

3:03 p.m., Valley Springs – Squatters in residence.

3:17 p.m., Mountain Ranch – Verbal disturbance. Civil matter.

3:39 p.m., Rail Road Flat – Verbal altercation. Female subject arrested for public intoxication.

3:57 p.m., Jenny Lind – Two Canada geese standing in the middle of Milton Road.

4:34 p.m., Avery – Subjects with flashlights are walking around at night, looking into vehicle and windows.

5:21 p.m., San Andreas – Subject drove away from Harris Food Mart gas station with hose and nozzle dragging. Returned when noticed.

8:11 p.m., Wilseyville – Subject on property with a flashlight. Owner unable to locate.

11:14 p.m., Near Vallecito – Suspicious vehicle at Natural Bridges. Subject had been drinking. Was arrested. Possession of concealed, loaded firearm in the vehicle.

The Sheriff’s Department has answered 7,098 calls for service this year.
