For the first time all year, the Bret Harte High School girls’ basketball team has won back-to-back games. And with those wins, the Bullfrogs are above .500.

After being held scoreless in the opening 16 minutes, Bret Harte senior Chase Silva scored five points in the third quarter, which included draining a 3-point basket. Sophomore Bullfrog Annelise Zumbach also made a shot from downtown and senior Nina Hollars got into the scoring parade with two points. After outscoring Union Mine 15-12, Bret Harte led 35-20 heading into the fourth quarter.
