Supervisor Tom Tryon this is not about “sour grapes!” “Hang down your head Tom Tryon!” You have been in office 27 years and know better than anyone on the Board of Supervisors that when selecting someone to serve on the Planning Commission your No. 1 responsibility to the people as a supervisor is to select the very best person qualified from applications submitted. What were you thinking? Your motto for more than 25 years, “Don’t do as I do but do as I say!”
The person you selected has no experience in land use planning and furthermore didn’t even attend the Board of Supervisors meeting.
You demonstrated your typical stubborn and manipulative behavior whether it is on the Board of Supervisors, Calaveras Council of Governments and the Local Agency Formation Commission. The citizens of Calaveras County, whether in your district or countywide, have repeatedly seen your negative impact, lack of honesty and integrity which we no longer can afford for you to represent us. Once again, you are “over the top” for the umpteenth time! This kind of repeated negative behavior over the past 27 years is very dishonest. Have you no conscience?
At the Board of Supervisors meeting on Sept. 13 you said to Joe Kelly it was not a political decision. It is obvious it was. You lied! Tom, you are not fooling anyone who watches your despicable behavior in the boardroom or on TV. Once again you have shown your “true colors!” You demonstrated beyond a shadow of doubt the truly poor representative you are to all the people of Calaveras County. Your time to leave is long overdue.
Personally, I don’t believe anyone should serve in an elected office more than eight years and you clearly demonstrated to the people of Calaveras County that you have become over time part of the “problem” and are no longer part of the “solution.” You are not able to be an honest leader or follower so it is time for you to get out of the way. We won’t miss you.
