Parvo outbreak shutters Animal Shelter

The Calaveras County Animal Shelter’s canine visitation and adoption spaces were closed Thursday after an outbreak of canine parvovirus, Calaveras County Animal Services confirmed in the morning.The virus infected two puppies, said Dee Dee Drake, executive director of the Calaveras County Humane Society.
