James Edwin Wiggins of Murphys died Monday, Oct. 24, at his home. He was 53.
Mr. Wiggins was born in the Bay Area and moved to Calaveras County to live his dream in the mountains. He loved the outdoors and was an avid fisherman. One of his favorite things was to sit outside his cabin and watch the wildlife frolic in his yard.
He is survived by his daughter, Lisa Wiggins of Avery; mother Doris Wiggins of Pennsylvania; brothers Greg (Deanna) Wiggins of Manteca, and Scott (Kelly) Wiggins of Pennsylvania; sister Pam (Phil) Molleson of Carson City, Nev.; many nieces and nephews; and one great-granddaughter.
