Winter may be officially over, but the weather isn’t quite cooperating. I hope everyone is staying dry during these last storms of the season.
I had the opportunity to go to Ironstone over the weekend for an event celebrating a new book about the Kautz family, “Kautz: A Story of Family and Farm in California” by Kevin Starr. Events at Ironstone are always memorable, but I felt especially lucky to attend this one. It’s a beautiful book, and an amazing story.
Our columnist McAvoy Layne has a new book himself, “Living Twice: How Chautauqua Can Give You Another Life.” I’m sure that anyone who enjoys his columns will love his book.
