Jesse Cox

Jesse Cox died Monday, Oct. 10, 2011, at his home in Jackson. He was 5.

Jesse was born Oct. 6, 2006, in San Andreas. He enjoyed playing soccer, gymnastics, going to school, fishing, monster trucks and SpongeBob; he also loved to eat.

He is survived by his parents Christopher Cox and Rachel Bode; sisters Charlene “Charlie” Angelica Chiero and Alyssa Faith Candice Cox; brother Jeremiah Timothy Bode Cox; grandparents Faith Elaine Cox of Sutter Creek, James Lee Hemenway Sr. of Jackson, Roy Carl Cox of Medford, Ore., and Kelley and Todd Garcia of Glencoe; great-grandparents Sharon Miller of Pioneer and Marion Light of Eagle Point, Ore.; great-great-grandmother Mary Ann Bleth of Sacramento; uncles Russell Cox of Pioneer and Michael Bear of Glencoe; and other numerous relatives.

A visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 18, at Daneri Mortuary in Jackson. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 19, at West Point Community Church, 19875 Hwy. 26, West Point. An interment will follow at the West Point Cemetery.
