VAN ROLLOVER CLOSES MT. RANCH ROAD: Ambulance and San Andreas Fire Protection District crews clean up an accident scene that closed Mountain Ranch Road for a short time Wednesday. Curley Rasmussen, 55, of Rail Road Flat was traveling east on Mountain Ranch Road when he tried to light a cigarette and the 1990 Ford van he was driving ran off the roadway’s edge. He overcorrected and the van overturned. The CHP said Rasmussen was cited for driving with a suspended license and for not having insurance.
